Verizon Wireless has pulled the trigger with Apple to bring a CDMA iPhone to the largest North American Carrier. Qualified Verizon Wireless customers will be given the exclusive opportunity to pre-order iPhone 4 online on February 3, ahead of general availability.
“We are pleased to introduce millions of wireless users to the industry leading iPhone 4 on the nation’s most reliable network,” said Lowell McAdam, president and chief operating officer of Verizon. “This is an important step for the industry as two great companies join forces to give wireless customers one of the most important technological additions to the mobile landscape this century.”
“Verizon Wireless customers have told us they can't wait to get their hands on iPhone 4, and we think they are going to love it,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s chief operating officer. “We have enormous respect for the company Verizon has built and the loyalty they have earned from their customers.”

A question lots of wannabe Iphone owners are asking. Rumors have been flying around for a long time about The iPhone being available on Verizon In the Summer of 2010.
The answer is a secret know matter what anyone says. And with The 4G HD iPhone being leaked don't think any reliable leaks will be coming. So look at the facts.
AT&T had a two year contract with Apple to sell Apple iPhone subsidized. Then they received a one year extension. Well everyone the iPhone was released in June 2007. That means June 2010 something will happen.
Look for Iphone to be available on more networks.
Why do we think Apple will want to sell on more networks? Because business's need to grow. Every quarter the stock holders want to see results. How many more customers can AT&T steal from the other networks. Not many from what we see. Most users who wanted a iPhone already switched networks.
